The posted compensation range of $18.00 - $824.00 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Executive Market Medical Director - Greater Colorado/Kansas
Job Details
As our Executive Market Medical Director, you will join a team dedicated to truly optimizing healthcare for the communities we serve in the Greater Colorado/Kansas market.
Every day you will collaborate with executive leadership, physician leaders, and operational teams to assess, develop, implement, and achieve medical group goals, strategies, and outcomes. You will work closely with corporate leadership, entity leadership, and medical staff to support strategic planning, network development, practice acquisition, physician recruitment, and market growth initiatives that ensure the delivery of high-quality, accessible care throughout the communities we serve. Through your leadership, you will help drive organizational performance, strengthen clinical integration, and advance innovative solutions that improve both patient and provider experiences.
To be successful in this role, you will be an accomplished physician leader with a proven track record of driving clinical excellence, operational performance, and organizational transformation. You will possess strong communication abilities, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

- Provide strategic clinical leadership focused on creating the highest quality and most cost-effective healthcare within our integrated delivery system.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities that advance organizational strategic goals, physician alignment, patient experience, financial performance, provider and staff engagement, and exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Lead and develop multidisciplinary approaches to clinical outcome management while fostering environments of quality, safety, and engagement that support a sustainable, growing, and distinctive organization dedicated to improving the health of individuals and communities.
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
Required:
- Doctorate (MD or DO) in Medicine required.
- Active/eligilbe unrestricted license to practice medicine in Colorado required.
- Three years' experience in delivery of physician services and medical staff administration with proven success in progressive responsibility in healthcare leadership
- Knowledge of Joint Commission, managed care and health policy is essential with proven success in effective integration of medical management.
- Board certified in an approved clinical specialty required while in clinical practices.
Preferred:
- Currently or previously have lived in the Greater Colorado or Kansas area highly desired.
- Medical staff relations, quality measurement credentialing and previous medical management experience highly desirable.
