The posted compensation range of $145,000 - $165,000 /year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. About Dignity Health Medical Group – Stockton:

Our multispecialty group, Dignity Health Medical Group – Stockton, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is seeking a full-time Surgical Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative surgical practice with a primary focus on breast cancer care. This role offers a balanced blend of clinic-based care and operating room participation, ideal for APPs who value continuity of care, collaboration, and sustainable work-life balance.

Practice Highlights:

  • Work primarily with our Surgical Oncologist, with occasional collaboration with a General Surgeon
  • Primary focus on breast cancer patients, supporting care from consultation through recovery
  • Outpatient-based practice with meaningful operating room participation
  • Collaborative, physician-led environment that values APP autonomy and partnership
  • Embedded within a multispecialty surgical specialty care clinic, fostering strong interdisciplinary collaboration

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Balanced role: approximately 80% clinic / 20% operating room
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • No inpatient responsibilities and no call
  • Perform:
  • Initial patient consultations
  • Follow-up visits and ongoing care management

Job Requirements
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program with active national certification
  • Minimum of 9 months post-training surgical experience preferred
  • Active, unrestricted California license (or ability to obtain)
  • Interest in oncology and longitudinal patient care
