You will provide critical, 100% inpatient clinical care to hospitalized adult patients at St. Joseph's Medical Center, providing direct daily assistance and rounding support to our premier GI clinical team. You will also contribute significantly to shaping a robust, patient-centered specialty care network in a highly collaborative environment alongside clinical leaders.
To be successful in this role, you will be a licensed Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) who is highly comfortable in an inpatient setting, possesses strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, and has a passion for delivering high-quality, acute GI care. This opportunity is structured to provide an excellent work-life balance, offering a predictable daytime schedule, procedural training avenues, and a collaborative team environment utilizing the Foundation APP billing model.
Deliver comprehensive, 100% inpatient gastroenterology services, managing daily acute floor rounds, performing a high volume of hospital consultations, handling post-procedure follow-ups, and managing transitional discharges to streamline physician workflows.
Provide direct daily support and assistance to staff GI clinicians to optimize acute inpatient care pathways and coordinate outpatient post-discharge follow-up care.
Participate in specialized clinical interventions, with unique opportunities to assist with GI procedures under the direct guidance and training of the GI team.
Partner and collaborate cross-functionally with hospitalists, intensivists, and regional clinical leaders to elevate care quality and reduce hospital length of stay within the community.
We are offering the following incentives to eligible new hires:
Salary range: $145,000–$165,000 / yr plus bonus incentives
Flexible Scheduling Options: Choose between a traditional Monday through Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm) schedule or a 4-day, 10-hour shift layout, with occasional weekend coverage and rotation participation
Procedural Training & Development: Gain valuable, hands-on clinical experience with direct opportunities and formal training from the GI team to assist with specialized GI procedures
Generous sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance
100% employer-paid medical and dental insurance for you and your family
Programmatic support as the pioneering inpatient APP for this growing specialty team
Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility, an employer-sponsored pension plan, and annual CME allowance
