We have an opportunity for a 1.0 FTE surgical pathologist physician in desirable Seattle, Washington. Join the Virginia Mason Medical Center (VMMC) division of pathology and laboratory medicine with a regional and national reputation for excellence in patient care. 


Responsibilities

Aspects of the Surgical Pathologist Physician role;

  • Position information; Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle WA is recruiting for a board certified or board eligible pathologist to join our subspecialist team of pathologists. AP or AP/CP pathology with subspecialty fellowship training in hematopathology is preferred. This is a great opportunity to join a busy pathology practice with a complex case mix, strong interdepartmental relationships, and multispecialty physician support including a comprehensive cancer center. The practice consists of general surgical pathology and hematopathology with opportunities for clinical pathology service and clinical research depending on interest.

Qualifications

BE/BC Surgical Pathologist.  

  • Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of Washington
  • AP/CP or AP Pathologist with a strong surgical pathology background and subspecialty training in hematopathology is desired.
