The posted compensation range of $220.82 - $338.29 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Hospitals in the Dignity Health Ventura market include St. John's Regional Medical Center in Oxnard and St. John's Hospital Camarillo. Dignity Health Hospitals in Bakersfield include Mercy Hospital - Downtown, Mercy Hospital - Southwest, and Bakersfield Memorial Hospital.
Responsibilities
Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC), a service of Dignity Health, is seeking to add an Hospitalist to our growing team. Join in supporting health services at Marian Regional Medical Center (MRMC), an award-winning, 191 bed hospital located in Santa Maria, CA. The health practice is part of a larger ambulatory clinic system with 50 locations that span over multiple counties. Over 200 providers employed and 20 specialty services offered. Excellent opportunity for a physician who wants to be productive and provide high quality care to a growing community.
Patient Care:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric inpatients.
- Manage and coordinate the care of hospitalized children, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) team for managing high-risk newborns.
Shift Details:
- Full-time and part-time positions are available.
- Typical schedule includes 8-10 shifts per month, with each shift lasting 24 hours, blending in-house and off-site coverage.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with a team of dedicated support staff.
- Engage in a strong collaborative relationship with the NICU, OB, and MFM teams.
Facility and Services:
- The hospital boasts a Level III NICU with 21 beds and a robust OB department with over 3,100 deliveries annually.

Qualifications
- Board Certification/Eligibility: Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
- Licensing: An active California medical license is required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and patient care.
- Employment Eligibility: Ability to be employed in the United States.
