Dignity Health Medical Group – Dominican is a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation. We are aligned with Dignity Health, one of the largest health systems in California. Our group is seeking a board-certified Rheumatologist to join our dynamic team at Dignity Health Medical Group – Dominican. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients with rheumatologic disorders, including autoimmune diseases, arthritis, lupus, and a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. This is an outstanding opportunity to work autonomously within a collaborative, patient-centered medical group where high-quality care is prioritized.

About Your New Role
As DHMG - Dominican’s independent Rheumatologist, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of rheumatologic disorders, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, and other autoimmune diseases.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in continuous medical education and stay updated with the latest advancements in rheumatology.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior medical staff and residents.

Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Procedures: Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures; provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
- Quality Improvement: Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.
- Compliance: Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.
Qualifications
- A valid and unrestricted California medical license
- Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
- Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
