Dignity Health Medical Group – Dominican is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join our physician led, patient centered organization in Santa Cruz, CA.

Flexibility and Exceptional Work/Life Balance:
- Full Time option to work 4 or 4.5 days per week
- 100% outpatient, no nights, no weekends
Available Resources:
- Mentorship: from established and newer physicians in the group
- Dedicated MA team for efficient workflow
- Internal pharmacy department handling daily refills
Compensation/Benefits Include:
- 2 year salary guarantee: $300,000+
- Excellent earning potential with productivity bonus
- Student loan reimbursement up to $100,000
- Residency signing stipend: $18,000
- Sign on bonus up to $125,000
- Relocation assistance: $20,000
- Comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans and CME allowance

Responsibilities
Patient Care:
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Provide clear and concise medical information.
- Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
Diagnostic Procedures:
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
- Perform procedures as needed
- Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
- Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.
Quality Improvement:
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
- Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
- Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
Compliance:
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
- Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.
Continuous Learning:
- Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.
- Participate in ongoing medical education and training.
- Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications
- A valid and unrestricted California medical license
- Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
- Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
- This is also an H1B visa sponsored opportunity that is cap-exempt.
