Dignity Health Medical Group – Dominican is a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation. We are aligned with Dignity Health, one of the largest health systems in California. Our group is seeking a board-certified Endocrinologist to join our dynamic team at Dignity Health Medical Group – Dominican. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes mellitus, thyroid diseases, and a variety of metabolic and hormone-related conditions. This is an outstanding opportunity to work within a collaborative, patient-centered environment where high-quality care is prioritized.

About Your New Role

As an Endocrinologist with our team, you’ll have the opportunity to:

    • Diagnose and manage a wide range of endocrine disorders.
    • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
    • Participate in continuous medical education and stay updated with the latest advancements in endocrinology.
    • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior medical staff and residents.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Procedures: Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures; provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
  • Quality Improvement: Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.
  • Compliance: Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Board certification in endocrinology.
  • Valid medical license to practice in California.
  • Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to teamwork and collaborative practice.
