Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehab Psychologist to join our dynamic Neuropsychology Clinic. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive psychological services to individuals recovering from neurological injuries and illnesses, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and other neurological conditions. The Rehab Psychologist will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat cognitive, emotional, and behavioral challenges impacting patients' rehabilitation progress and overall quality of life. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing patient-centered care within a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
- Provides appropriate and effective psychological care and treatment planning and execution as required to evaluate and rehabilitate the psychological manifestations of neurological, psychiatric, and medical conditions
- Attends to medical records in a timely and appropriate manner to facilitate continuity of care, confidentiality of information, compliance with medical reporting standards, and accurate and timely billing of services
- Works collaboratively with the Department Chair, Practice Manager, and BNI senior leadership to ensure that high quality patient care is provided in an efficient and consistent manner
- Actively participates in the clinical neuropsychology residency training program, and provides written resident summary evaluations in a timely manner
- Adheres to ethical principles of the American Psychological Association and complies with local laws governing the practice of psychology
Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
- Two (2) years clinical experience as a postdoctoral fellow in a rehabilitation psychology or a clinical psychology/neuropsychology program with clear rehabilitation emphasis training program
Minimum Education:
- PhD or PsyD
Minimum Licensure:
- Psychologist license in the state of Arizona
