Internal Medicine Clinical Faculty Physician
Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona is actively seeking a full-time Internal Medicine physician to support our interdisciplinary outpatient Internal Medicine practice, located on the campus of its flagship hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center. The clinic is also a training site for students from Creighton University School of Medicine-Phoenix as well as the Creighton Alliance Internal Medicine residency program.
- 100% outpatient clinical practice
- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with rotational weeknight and weekend call coverage
- Diverse patient population
- Team-oriented practice with 6 other physicians, 3 nurse practitioners, and full-time RN and MA support.
- Opportunity to precept students and IM residents
- Opportunity for academic appointment through Creighton University School of Medicine-Phoenix
The position consists of outpatient responsibilities within a single clinic location close to the hospital campus. You will have access to full support staff. The medical group is a multi-specialty group that includes specialists in primary care, pulmonary medicine, endocrinology, palliative care, cardiology, infectious disease, gastroenterology, and other surgical specialties. QUALIFICATIONS
- MD or DO Degree and Active Board Certification
- Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure
- Completed ACGME Residency training in Internal Medicine with current ABMS Board Certification
- Previous experience in an academic outpatient setting is desired but not required.
