Join our dynamic and growing cardiovascular team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care with a focus on women’s heart health and prevention. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner with a strong interest in women’s health, cardiovascular disease and leadership to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. You will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including but not limited to the following.

Responsibilities

•  Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care with a special emphasis on women’s heart health and prevention.
•  Perform patient evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and manage follow-up care, ensuring continuity and high-quality outcomes.
•  Collaborate with your supervising physician and a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
•  Participate in community outreach, patient education, and cardiovascular research.
• Order, interpret and analyze diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe and administer medications and physical therapy as necessary.
• Participants in quality assurance and quality improvement for patient care.
• Works within a multidisciplinary team.
• Additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

NP Requirements: 

• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN)
• Graduate of accredited program for Nurse Practitioners
• Compact state or Arizona RN license
• Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse license
• Must hold and maintain National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations: a.) NP-AACN, b.)  NP-AANP,  c.)  NP-ANCC
• Valid DEA registration
• RNFA
• Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff
