Dignity Health Medical Group – Ventura County, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is a multi-specialty clinic with seven locations in Ventura County, including Camarillo, Oxnard, and Thousand Oaks. Along with our local affiliated hospitals at St. John's Regional Medical Center and St. John’s Hospital Camarillo, we are committed to providing high quality, compassionate care throughout Ventura County.

Our medical group is dedicated to providing excellence in healthcare every day. We are currently seeking a compassionate and committed pediatric provider to join our team and help us continue to deliver exceptional care to children and families. At every stage of life, we aim to help families make the most of each moment, and we believe a pediatrician’s role is central to supporting children’s health and well-being from infancy through adolescence.

    • Compensation Range: $260,000 - $280,000 / Year
    • Comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans and CME allowance 
    • Sign on bonus up to $40,000
    • Student loan repayment up to $40,000

    • Quality bonus up to $15,000 annually

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Provide exceptional care for pediatric patients, diagnosing and treating a variety of medical conditions, from common illnesses to more complex health needs.

  • Procedures: Perform routine pediatric procedures and ensure appropriate pre-operative and post-operative care when necessary.

  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients and their families, explaining conditions, treatment options, and follow-up care in an approachable and compassionate manner.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough patient records while ensuring compliance with coding and billing regulations.

  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside pediatric specialists and other healthcare providers, collaborating for the well-being of your patients.

  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality assurance initiatives to continually improve patient outcomes.

  • Compliance: Adhere to healthcare regulations and ethical standards at all times.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on pediatric medical advancements through ongoing education and training.


Qualifications
  • A valid and unrestricted California medical license

  • Board eligible or board certified in Pediatrics (ABMS or AOA)

  • Completion of an accredited pediatric residency program

  • Commitment to high-quality, compassionate care for pediatric patients

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
