Job Summary and Responsibilities

Hematology/Oncology – St. John’s Cancer Center, Oxnard, CA

Join the high-quality oncology team at Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC), a distinguished service of Dignity Health. We are seeking a Board-Certified, fellowship-trained Hematologist/Oncologist to provide passionate, community-based care at St. John’s Cancer Center in beautiful Ventura County. 

This premier opportunity is part of a Commission on Cancer (CoC) and NAPBC accredited program. You will join an established service line with a strong existing referral base and collaborative relationships with community-based specialists in Radiation Therapy, General Surgery, Radiology, and Pathology.

  • Comprehensive Facilities: Access an onsite Cancer Center, three infusion centers, two radiation oncology centers, and a nationally recognized Integrated Breast Center.
  • Clinical Support: Work alongside onsite Nurse Navigators and a dedicated Cancer Resource Center.
  • Research & Collaboration: Participate in national clinical trials with an onsite Research Coordinator and contribute to multidisciplinary Cancer Committees with weekly tumor boards.
  • Hospital Privileges: Practice at top-ranked St. John’s Regional Medical Center and St. John’s Hospital Camarillo.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive Base Salary: 550-585k annually + productivity + eligible for annual quality bonus

Job Requirements
  • MD or DO degree; Board-Certified in Hematology and Oncology (ABMS or AOA)
  • Fellowship-trained in Hematology/Oncology
  • Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Spanish speaking preferred (not required)
