Job Details
CHI Health Orthopaedics continues to grow and recruiting an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join a busy Orthopedic Physician with an interest in sports and hip/knee replacement. This is a wonderful opportunity for a new grad or experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to gain experience in a dual setting, seeing both patients in the clinic and exposure to operating assistance experience with one of our high producing orthopedic physicians. Our current team consists of a multitude of sub-specialized orthopedic physicians and Advanced Practice Providers
The practice includes a wonderful physician willing to teach and mentor a first assist with a passion in orthopedic surgery. The team aditionally boasts support staff, offering high quality care to our patients. Dedicated service to our patients includes total hip and knee replacement surgery, seeing various fractures, scopes and stabilization, tendon/nerve damage & much more. Operating room experience is not a requirement as our physician is willing to spend time teaching the qualified candidate with surgery desires.

Responsibilities
- Patient Care:
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.
- Communication:
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Provide clear and concise medical information.
- Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
- Diagnostic Procedures:
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
- Perform procedures as needed
- Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
- Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.
- Quality Improvement:
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
- Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
- Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Compliance:
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
- Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.
- Participate in ongoing medical education and training.
- Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications
- American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
- A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible
