Dignity Health Medical Group – Northridge is a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation. We are aligned with Dignity Health, one of the largest health systems in California. We are recruiting an enthusiastic NP or PA to join our Urgent Care team. The incoming APP would practice up to nine, 10 hour shifts per month, with one of our physicians. Previous Family Medicine practice experience and weekday/weekend availability is required. Pay differential for weekend shifts.
- Join established, well-respected multispecialty group (established in 1976)
- 1:1 staffing model (1 MD/DO, 1 APP) per shift
- 10 hour shifts (weekday and weekend shifts)
- $800 - $825 per shift
- Pay differential for weekend coverage
- Prior practice experience in Family Medicine as an APP, is required
- Acute cases are cared for at Northridge Hospital Medical Center

Responsibilities
Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
Treatment Planning and Management:
- Develop and implement patient care plans.
- Prescribe medications and therapies.
- Provide health promotion and disease prevention education.
Collaboration and Consultation:
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
- Consult with physicians and specialists as needed.
- Coordinate patient care across various settings.
Qualifications
- Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in Family Practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
- Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare)
- Completion of state mandated educational courses
