Dignity Health Medical Group - Northridge is a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation. We are aligned with Dignity Health, one of the largest health systems in California. We are recruiting a certified NP or PA to practice alongside our family practice physicians. Post-training practice experience highly preferred.

Acute care patients are cared for at Northridge Hospital Medical Center; a 424-bed, acute care facility, serving the Northridge community since 1955. The way in which we approach our patients and each other is ingrained in our culture, and can be summed up in two words: Hello humankindness.

Responsibilities

Patient Assessment and Diagnosis:

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests.

Treatment Planning and Management:

  • Develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies.
  • Provide health promotion and disease prevention education.

Collaboration and Consultation:

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
  • Consult with physicians and specialists as needed.
  • Coordinate patient care across various settings.


Qualifications
  • Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • A valid and unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
  • Nationally recognized certification (as determined by Medicare)
  • Completion of state mandated educational courses
