The posted compensation range of $34.50 - $34.50 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Job Details
The resident, without the use of an intermediary, must be able to: Take a history and perform a physical examination. Administer injections and obtain blood samples, perform medical procedures commensurate with their level of training and supervision by attending physicians. Use sterile technique and universal precautions. Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Assist at surgical operations. Talk to and interview other patients and staff to obtain/exchange information. Operate a personal computer and office equipment. Demonstrate timely, consistent, and reliable follow-up on patient care issues, such as laboratory results, patient phone calls, or other requests. Input and retrieve data from a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) Read charts and interpret monitors. Perform documentation procedures, including daily patient notes in the hospital and clinic, chart dictations, and other paperwork, in a timely fashion in accordance with medical staff regulations. Manage multiple patient care duties at the same time. Make judgments and decisions regarding complicated, undifferentiated disease presentations in a timely
fashion in emergency, ambulatory, and hospital settings. Demonstrate organizational skills required to eventually care for 10 or more outpatient cases per half day clinic session. Take call for the resident services, clinic, and which requires inpatient admissions and work stretches of up to 30 hours. Present well organized case discussions and requests for consultations to other physicians and attending supervisors. Complete all required evaluations in a timely fashion. Attend required lectures, seminars, case discussions and other meetings necessary to the training program.
- You shall limit your use of the information obtained from the Network and derivatives thereof (the Information) solely for the purposes of Requesting Contractor meeting its obligations under the Contract. Further, your use of the Information will be limited to the minimum necessary required to fulfill your contractual responsibilities.
- You agree to undertake a reasonable degree of care to protect the Information considering its confidential and privileged nature, which care shall not, in any event, be less than that required by law, and by Dignity Health's Network Usage Policy, a copy of which is attached.
- You have read and understand Dignity Health's Network Usage Policy and Requesting Contractor's privacy and security obligations under the Contract, and agree that, in addition to the requirements herein, the Network Usage Policy also governs your access to and use of the Network. Any revisions to the Network Usage Policy, which may be necessary from time to time, will be readily available to you on the Network for your review.
- Your Network user ID and password is unique to you and at no time shall you share with or otherwise disclose either of them to any other individual in your company or elsewhere. You agree to immediately report to Medical Facility the disclosure or loss of your user ID or password.
- You acknowledge that any violation of this Memorandum of Understanding could result in irreparable harm, the damages for which are incalculable. You agree that in the case of such breach of the foregoing agreement and trust, the patient, Dignity Health and Medical Facility shall have every remedy available at law, including immediate injunctive relief, in addition to remedies provided under the Contract.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Must possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate within first year of Residency.
- Must posses and maintain a current Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate within first year of Residency, renewed every 2 yrs after.
- Must possess and maintain a current Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) certificate within the first year of employment.
- Must possess and maintain a current PALS within first year of Residency, renewed every 2 yrs.
- Must possess and maintain a current Advance Life Support Obstetrics (ALSO) within third year of Residency.
- We accept American Heart Association certifications.
