The Opportunity:
HIET is seeking aBoard-Certified/Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologistto join our expanding practice. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice in a supportive, collaborative, and technologically advanced environment within a well-established and growing organization.
You will play a vital role in providingcutting-edge interventional cardiology servicesto a large and growing patient base within our expansive service area. Responsibilities & Practice Details:
- Perform a full range of interventional cardiology procedures, including coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
- Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow-up care.
- Participate in on-call coverage for interventional cardiology services.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Actively contribute to the growth and development of HIET's interventional cardiology program.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
- Potential for academic affiliation and involvement in research opportunitiesthrough our extensive network.
- Teaching and Committee opportunitiesare available for interested candidates.

Job Requirements
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
- Unrestricted Texas medical license (or eligible to obtain).
- Exceptional clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative team approach.
- Ability to thrive in a growing and dynamic practice environment.
- Ability to sponsor J1/H1B visas

Your primary base will be ourbrand-new, state-of-the-art 9,000 sq ft facility in Lufkin, a hub dedicated to comprehensive cardiovascular care. You'll practice within a technologically advanced environment, seeing patients from Lufkin and our six expanding satellite communities across East Texas. Our facilities are designed for optimal patient comfort and physician efficiency, equipped with the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies to support your interventional skills. You'll work within a practice that continues to invest in its infrastructure and services to remain at the forefront of cardiology.
