Responsibilities
The Opportunity:
Dignity Health Medical Group Nevada is currently seeking experienced Family Nurse Practitioners to join our growing outpatient primary care team in Las Vegas and Henderson.

- Reasonable daily patient volume expectations
- No nights or weekends
- No call
- Collegial staff and providers
- Adult medicine including:
- Acute sick visits
- Lab/imaging follow-up appointments
- Management of stable chronic medical conditions, with goal of moving to management of medically complex patients
- Medicare annual wellness exams
- Opportunity to perform procedures
- No OB or Pediatrics
- Tenured, well-trained and dedicated support staff in place to support you

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of ambulatory primary care NP experience required
- Local candidates preferred

- R.N. Degree Advanced Practitioner of Nursing.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory practice and medical care to give and evaluate patient care.
- Ability to assess medical conditions and interpret findings.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Ability to communicate clearly. Strong organizational project management and education development skills.
- Strong verbal written and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize the electronic medical record
- Demonstrates organizational skills and strong leadership ability.
- Certification as Advanced Practice RN. Licensed in Nevada as an Advanced Practice RN (must obtain Nevada license prior to hire). CT CPRBLS – Basic Life Support – AHA
