We currently seek full-time hospitalist NP’s to join our inpatient care team at our hospitals in Las Vegas.
Responsibilities

- Admissions, rounding, consults and running codes
- Performing procedures including central lines and intubations preferred, but not required
- 7 on/7 off 12-hour shifts
- Closed ICU
- 24-hour in-house intensivist coverage
- No call

Qualifications
Our requirements:
- Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 1 year of in-patient hospitalist experience
- Must possess or obtain an unrestricted Nevada NP license
- Ability to assess medical conditions and interpret findings.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients medical staff and the public.
Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Ability to communicate clearly. Strong organizational project management and education development skills.
Strong verbal written and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to utilize the electronic medical record
- Critical thinking and computer skills are essential
- Master’s degree in Nursing NP
- ANCC or AANP certification required
- Las Vegas-area (local) applicants with valid and unrestricted Nevada NP license strongly preferred
