The posted compensation range of $79.32 - $108.17 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Details
Under general supervision of the surgeons and clinical leaders, the incumbent provides a variety of medical services. These may include surgical assisting, inpatient management, preoperative and postoperative evaluations and staff/patient education. In addition, the incumbent oversees the day-to-day operation of the function, ensuring that standards of care are met and that all required daily checks and chart documentation meet standards as well as daily call to patients. The position reports to the Medical Group with oversight from the Director of Surgical Services. Nurse Practitioners are granted privileges as outlined by the Medical Staff Bylaws, rules and regulations and any applicable state regulations.
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Nursing NP OR Degree as a Physician Assistant
- For NP's: RNFA certificate required but a minimum of one year experience in surgical assisting will be considered in lieu of certification
- Three (3) years CT SFA experience
- Three (3) years acute care experience
- NP or PA Nevada license or eligible
- CT ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- CT CPRBLS - AHA-Basic Life Support
- Critical thinking skills and computer skills required
