Responsibilities

As a Primary Care NP or PA with Dr. Sami Khouri, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients.
  • Conduct physical exams including well-woman exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, manage chronic conditions and refer to specialists.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Prescribe medications and provide patient/family education.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current and valid California NP or PA license.
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) OR current NCCPA certification.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in primary care strongly preferred.
  • New graduate NP’s with a strong inpatient RN background are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of primary care principles and practice.
  • Experience with EPIC EMR system
