Responsibilities
Bariatric Surgery Opportunity – Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Franciscan Medical Group has a unique opportunity to join a very productive robotic bariatric surgery program. The individual will be joining a collegial team of providers with two busy board certified bariatric surgeons and three Advanced Practice Providers. Our new provider will have the opportunity of first assisting our surgeons in the operating room, making inpatient rounds, and having your own clinic hours for follow-up of current patients. Once fully trained, providers will to share in the on-call duties, working with surgeon back up.
Our group prefers an experienced provider comfortable with working in all settings and willing to adapt to the changing setting and patient volumes. We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and hardworking individual who can join and complement our successful team. The practice is busy, efficient, and expanding. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be required to coordinate patient care with surgeons, other APPs, hospital personnel/specialty consultants, and with the outpatient office staff and team.
We are a cohesive team and our new provider is expected to be a strong team player who can interact regularly with all members of the team. All patient care will take place at St Francis Hospital in Federal Way, with the possibility of a satellite clinic opening in the future. The position will provide a fantastic surgical, inpatient, and outpatient clinical experience with potential for rapid learning and growth for the successful candidate.
Compensation is base plus wVRU productivity, with an approximate base between $143,000-$163,000 determined by APP experience. This is reasonable estimate CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Certified to work as an ARNP or Physician Assistant
- Licensed in the state of WA prior the time of employment
- Board certified by the time of employment
- DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association
