Overview

We are looking for an energetic nocturnist to join our well established hospitalist/nocturnist team. with the potential to expand further. Our opportunity boasts the wide variety of benefits and supportive resources expected as part of a large health system multispecialty group while also being recognized for individual contributions.

The candidate will join our well-established Hospitalist team.  The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.  Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff.

CHI St. Joseph Health provides health care to a 9-county service region. The main service area is Brazos County, while Austin, Burleson, Grimes, Lee, Leon, Madison, Robertson, and Washington counties comprise the secondary market. Responsibilities

Required Skills:

  1. Flexible and willing to support organizational needs with regard to healthcare and market changes;
  2. Established clinical expertise with a commitment to patient care outcomes;
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  4. Willingness to serve as a team member and clinical leader in the workplace;
  5. Oriented toward customer service and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

Education/Certifications and Experience required:

  • Current clinical competence and adequate volume of current experience documenting the ability to provide services at an acceptable level of quality and efficiency;
  • 2 years’ experience in acute care
  • Board certified or board eligible through applicable ABSM body
  • Current licensure from the Texas Medical Board, preferred
  • Additional skills include effective communication and leadership skills, able to facilitate change. Orients to physician practice/ patient population including attending and participating in multi-disciplinary rounds; participate in and support accreditation, compliance, and regulatory activities of the organization.
