Overview
Dignity Health Medical Group – Sequoia is seeking energetic and team oriented Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physicians (FM or IM) in Belmont, CA. We are a growing multi-specialty group and affiliated with Sequoia Hospital.

Exceptional Work/Life Balance and Variety of Schedules Available:

  • Part Time and Full Time opportunities
  • Full Time option to work 4 or 4.5 days per week
  • 100% outpatient, no nights, no weekends
  • Practice with collegial, experienced, and well-established physicians, in addition to newer physicians in the group

Compensation/Benefits Include:

  • 2 year salary guarantee:  $280,000 /year
  • Excellent earning potential with productivity bonus
  • Annual quality incentive: $30k
  • Student loan reimbursement
  • Residency signing stipend:  $18,000
  • Sign-on bonus: up to $125,000

Community Description:
San Mateo County is a highly desirable and family-friendly place to live. The weather is remarkably mild year-round, with an average temperature of 68 degrees. The communities are located halfway between San Francisco and San Jose. Known for their wooded hills, views of the San Francisco Bay, and stretches of open space, there are quiet residential communities in the midst of the culturally and technologically rich San Francisco Bay area.


Responsibilities

Patient Care:

  • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories.

Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Provide clear and concise medical information.
  • Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.

Diagnostic Procedures:

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
  • Perform procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
  • Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

Quality Improvement:

  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
  • Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
  • Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.

Compliance:

  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
  • Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

Continuous Learning:

  • Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing medical education and training.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.


Qualifications
  • A valid and unrestricted California medical license
  • Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
  • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
