The posted compensation range of $64,173.00 - $70,928.00 /year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities

Essential Areas of Responsibility

  • Provide care to patients of all ages - infants to geriatrics
  • Manages outpatient care needs and provides prompt care that includes diagnosis, treatment, and the performance of medical procedures (within your scope of practice)
  • Collaborate and coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing, health care personnel, and care team members
  • Employ quality and process improvement practices to keep the clinic safe and improve patient outcomes

Note: this is an outpatient-only, part-time (20 scheduled hours per week) Monday - Friday position.


Job Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position:

  • will have graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Masters or Doctorate program
  • will have one year of advanced practice experience, preferred
  • board certified as a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner
  • enjoys providing healthcare to all patient age ranges – infant to geriatrics
  • will have the qualification to successfully obtain an unrestricted Minnesota practice license and DEA
  • interested in a full-time 40-hour per work week, outpatient-only model
  • have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • demonstrate the ability to work independently
  • demonstrate the ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing patient demographics and needs

CHI LakeWood Health is a federally designated critical access hospital with clinic located in the heart of world renown Lake of The Woods, Minnesota.  We are privileged to serve residents from four counties, neighboring residents of Canada, as well as tourists that come from all over the world due to seasonal tourism and recreational activities. We are proud to offer a full range of services including 24/7/365 emergency room and hospitalist program, testing, surgery, an outpatient primary care clinic, a care center, rehabilitation, and more.  Today we are actively recruiting a Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established clinic.
