The posted compensation range of $500,000 - $550.000 /year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiation Oncologist, you will be instrumental in expanding our cutting-edge radiation oncology program in Grass Valley, CA. You will provide expert clinical care, offering advanced treatment options and playing a pivotal role in the continued success and development of our department.

You will utilize a comprehensive range of state-of-the-art radiation technologies, deliver exceptional patient care, and foster strong relationships with referring providers and your team. Your leadership will guide staff, ensuring a positive and collaborative environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will be a BE/BC Radiation Oncologist with excellent clinical skills, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for utilizing advanced techniques to deliver precision radiation treatment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert, full-time radiation oncology services utilizing advanced technologies such as AlignRT, Brachytherapy, Calypso 4D localization, IGRT, IMRT, RapidArc Radiotherapy, SRS, and SBRT.
  • Lead the expansion and development of the radiation oncology program, contributing to strategic growth and innovation.
  • Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with referring physicians and participate actively in tumor boards.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, fostering a positive and highly functional clinical environment.

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
  • Active or eligible license in the state of California
  • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiology care principles
