- Patient Care: Diagnose and treat the full spectrum of psychiatric conditions; develop individualized treatment plans; perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations; collaborate with medical and behavioral health colleagues for integrated care.
- Communication: Engage effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams; provide clear explanations of diagnoses and treatment options; support a patient-centered approach.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical records; document psychiatric assessments, medication management, and treatment progress; ensure adherence to billing and regulatory standards.
- Diagnostics: Order and interpret necessary labs and imaging; coordinate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with therapists, social workers, nurses, and primary care providers; participate in team meetings, case conferences, and peer consultation; provide psychiatric input and consultation as needed.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality assurance initiatives; review clinical outcomes to support evidence-based care; help implement improvements to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
Qualifications
- A valid and unrestricted California medical license
- Board eligible or board certified in Psychiatry (ABMS or AOA)
- Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
- Committment to high-quality patient care and teamwork

Competitive Salary: Annual income guarantee of $327,020 for 18 months, followed by a productivity model with potential for increased income
