The posted compensation range of $375,000 - $425,000 /year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our OB/GYN Physician, you will join a growing, physician-led practice at Dignity Health Medical Group - Stockton, playing a pivotal role in the continued success, clinical delivery, and development of our regional women's health service line.

You will provide expert inpatient and outpatient clinical care, managing low- and high-risk pregnancies, performing a wide range of gynecological surgeries, and delivering compassionate care to a diverse patient population. You will also contribute significantly to shaping a robust, patient-centered specialty care network in a highly collaborative environment.

To be successful in this role, you will be a BC/BE OB/GYN physician with a passion for clinical excellence, strong surgical and diagnostic skills, and a commitment to building a premier medical and surgical home within a supportive, mission-driven environment. This opportunity is structured to support a balanced lifestyle, offering a predictable schedule integrated with shared, equitable call responsibilities at St. Joseph's Medical Center.

  • Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN services, including routine prenatal care, high-risk obstetrics management, well-woman care, and advanced surgical interventions.

  • Formulate and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans while monitoring clinical outcomes and promoting long-term women's health.

  • Partner and collaborate cross-functionally with a dedicated network of local primary care providers, pediatricians, and regional clinical leaders to optimize patient care and referral pathways.

  • Participate in departmental clinical quality initiatives and peer reviews to expand critical regional medical access and elevate safety metrics within the community.

  • Competitive Compensation Range: 2yr Guaranteed annual salary of  $375,000 - $425,000/year plus productivity-based incentives

Job Requirements

Required

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution

  • Board eligible or board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG or AOBOG)

  • Active or eligible medical license in the state of California

  • Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification (or eligibility to obtain)

  • Completion of an accredited post-graduate residency training program in Obstetrics and Gynecology

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-based clinical problem-solving skills
