The posted compensation range of $416,994 - $677,281 /year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Hematology Oncology Physician
Job Details
Virginia Mason Medical Center (VMMC) is recruiting a Hematology Oncology Physician with a strong interest in Malignant Hematology to join our team in Seattle, Washington. This physician will join a multi-specialty hospital based practice with more than 10 physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. Our physicians are all Board Certified Hem/Onc generalists with at least one area of interest. Very reasonable call schedule shared by all physicians.

- Excellent nursing and overall clinic support
- Extensive program of multi-disciplinary cancer conferences – including Breast, Thoracic, GI, Hepatobiliary, Urologic, Prostate and Dermatology/Sarcoma
- Extensive multidisciplinary support including site-specific tumor boards
- Involvement in collaborative group clinical trials
- VM is the longest-running accredited Academic Commission on Cancer (CoC) program in the Western United States
- The cancer program oversees 2800 analytic cancer cases per year, plus an additional 20% non-analytic cases
- 28 chemotherapeutic and biologic infusion chairs
Job Requirements
- Medical Degree
- Completion of ACGME Residency and Fellowship Training Programs
- Active Washington State Medical License and DEA in good standing prior to start date
- Board Certified/Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
- Interest in Malignant Hematology
- Eligible for medical staff privileges at VMMC
