The posted compensation range of $500,000 - $550,000 /year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician – Dignity Health Perinatal and Women’s Center, Santa Maria, CA

Join the premier high-risk obstetrics team at Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC), a distinguished service of Dignity Health.

We are actively seeking a dedicated, fellowship-trained Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist to join our established practice at the Dignity Health Perinatal and Women’s Center in beautiful Santa Maria, California. This role offers the opportunity to lead specialized care for complex pregnancies in a high-volume, resource-rich environment.

This exceptional opportunity is part of a robust, established ambulatory clinic system that includes over 160 employed physicians and 20 specialty services. We seek a productive specialist committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a thriving, growing community.

Opportunity Highlights

  • Clinical Scope: Full-spectrum MFM services including high-risk consultations, targeted ultrasounds (Level II), amniocentesis, and co-management of complex maternal conditions.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside a team of well-respected OB/GYNs, Neonatologists, and Pediatric Subspecialists.
  • Facility Access: Close integration with the Level III NICU and labor and delivery services at Marian Regional Medical Center.
  • Technology: Access to state-of-the-art GE Voluson ultrasound machines and integrated Cerner EHR for streamlined reporting.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $500,000 – $555,000
  • Sign-On & Relocation: Generous sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.
  • Public Student Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible employer.

Job Requirements
  • MD or DO degree, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in OB/GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (ABMS or AOA).
  • Active California medical license (or ability to obtain).
  • DEA certification.
  • Proficiency in advanced prenatal diagnostic procedures and fetal surveillance.

The Dignity Health Perinatal and Women’s Center in Santa Maria is the regional leader in high-risk pregnancy care. The practice is closely integrated with Marian Regional Medical Center, which features a state-of-the-art Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and is recognized for excellence in perinatal safety and clinical outcomes.
