Part-Time OB/GYN Physician
Job Details
As a full-time or part-time OB/GYN Physician, you will join the growing team at Dignity Health Medical Group - Dominican in Santa Cruz, CA, moving beyond the traditional clinical experience to a practice rooted in advocacy, clinical excellence, and deep community partnership.
You will have varied schedule options, including part-time clinic-based, part-time full-scope clinic and hospital-based, full-time hospital-based, or full-time full-scope clinic and hospital-based positions. You will enjoy a shared call of 1:6 plus a backup call panel, and work alongside a team of established Physicians and Certified Nurse Midwives. We are affiliated with Dominican Hospital, a leading regional medical center providing compassionate, high-quality care with a modern, well-equipped birthing center, approximately 700-800 deliveries annually, access to a Level III NICU, 24/7 anesthesia coverage, and a dedicated OB ED. You'll find the kind of small, tight-knit community where you can grow and see the difference you're making, all while enjoying city amenities and proximity to Silicon Valley.
To be successful in this role, you will be a Board Eligible/Board Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician, who is seeking autonomy, collaboration, and flexibility in one of California's most beautiful places to live, with residence in Santa Cruz County NOT required.
- Provide comprehensive women's healthcare, encompassing both obstetric and gynecological services in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Manage a diverse patient panel, offering preventative care, reproductive health services, and treatment for various gynecological conditions.
- Perform deliveries, gynecological surgeries, and other necessary procedures while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
- Cultivate long-term patient relationships through continuity of care, education, and advocacy for women's health.
We offer:
- Full-Time Annual Salary: $375,000 - $400,000, DOE
- Sign-On & Relocation: Comprehensive packages available for 0.8 FTE or greater

Job Requirements
Required
- MD or DO degree, Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA certification
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care

- Proficiency in Spanish is preferred
