The posted compensation range of $140,000 - $160,000 /year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA), you will join the collegial and diverse multi-specialty group at Dignity Health Medical Group – Dominican, playing a pivotal role in building healthier communities in Santa Cruz, CA.

You will provide outpatient care, embracing autonomy and flexibility in your work, with no weekends or evenings. You'll practice alongside collaborative and experienced physicians, benefiting from robust mentorship, support, a dedicated MA team for efficient workflow, and an internal pharmacy department handling daily refills. To be successful in this role, you will be an energetic and motivated Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a commitment to serving the community and fostering your professional growth within a supportive environment.

  • Provide autonomous outpatient primary care for diverse patients within a multi-specialty group setting.
  • Manage patient inboxes for self and other providers, ensuring timely communication and task completion.
  • Collaborate with physicians and a dedicated MA team to deliver high-quality, efficient patient care.
  • Perform comprehensive family medicine/primary care duties, including diagnosis, treatment, procedures, and preventive care.

We are offering the following incentives to eligible new hires:

  • Annual salary of $140,000 - $160,000 (DOE) with uncapped productivity bonuses
  • Sign-on bonus & relocation assistance, and additional productivity

Job Requirements
  • Board-certified Nurse Practicioner or Physician Assistant
  • Active or eligible license in the state of California
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • 1+ years of recent relevant experience preferred
  • Spanish proficiency a plus
