The posted compensation range of $380,000.00 - $419,993.00 /year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. You will provide full-Scope Generalist Care: Deliver comprehensive outpatient and surgical services including urogynecology, minimally invasive surgery, and advanced fertility treatment services.
Dedicated Surgical Support: Maintain a strong surgical volume, keeping you operating in the OR an average of 2 full days every week.
Collaborative Medical Services: Work within a robust team-care model, benefiting from an immediate, active patient volume driven by our excellent local reputation.
Academic & On-Call Coverage: Lead OB/GYN call coverage and resident education at Mercy Medical Center Redding (MMCR), maintaining a highly favorable average call ratio of 1 in 7.
Hospitalist Program Leadership: Staff the OB Hospitalist program at MMCR, engaging in fulfilling teaching and leadership roles to foster a positive clinical culture.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following
- A true generalist mindset with a passion for both full-scope outpatient clinical care and diverse surgical cases.
- A deep commitment to a team-based, multidisciplinary care model alongside our registered nurses, case managers, pelvic physical therapists, and OB/GYN sonographers.
- An alignment with our organizational culture of Hope, with an eagerness to innovate new services and flex alongside the creative visions of the clinical team.
- A desire to build positive, collaborative relationships with hospital administration, maternal-child units, and family medicine residency programs.

Competitive Compensation: A competitive base salary of $380,000 to $420,000, commensurate with experience. Additional a premium daily call stipend. The hospital assists with a comprehensive recruitment package.

Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active or eligible license in the state of California
- Strong clinical skills with experience in developmental and
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Selah Women’s Health is a thriving 6-clinician group practice looking to expand to better meet the healthcare access needs of our beautiful NorthState California community. Our practice uniquely blends a passion for whole-person care at a personalized patient level, with a vision for community-level health restoration. Mercy Medical Center Redding offers comprehensive health care to nearly 300,000 residents in a six-county region. It is one of only two Level II trauma centers and the only Level III neonatal ICU north of Sacramento. Mercy Medical Center Redding is a 266-bed regional medical center providing inpatient and outpatient services as well as specialized cardiovascular care, stroke care, orthopedics, neurological surgery, comprehensive cancer care, maternity care, and a robust robotic surgery program. In addition, the hospital’s network of care includes Mercy Home Health and Hospice and Dignity Health Connected Living, which serves nearly 72,000 meals a year. The medical staff has over 250 active members who partner with skilled professionals, support staff and helpful volunteers to provide innovative medical services to the North State communities. Mercy serves as a local community hospital as well as a referral center for a vast region from the Oregon border two hours north, halfway to Sacramento (two hours to the south), east to Nevada and west to the Pacific Ocean.
