Candidates are expected to have a fellowship or residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and interest in scholarly and educational activities with an academic rank comensurate with experience at Creighton University School of Medicine.

Creighton University - CHI Health Chief of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Creighton University Medical Center and CHI Health seek to recruit a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Faculty Physician and expand our clinical, research, and educational activities within our Department of Surgery and its Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery.
The incumbent physician will aid in the growth and delivery encompassing a wide breadth of reconstructive & cosmetic surgical cases in the setting of a large established referral base within the Department of Surgery, Primary Care, and growing Breast Cancer Surgery Center of Excellence, within a large integrated health care system. The opportunity is ripe for a seasoned or junior clinician to enhance Plastic Surgery in all of its domains in partnership with outstanding colleagues and forward-thinking and dynamic academic and business leadership. These clinical, academic, and educational domains include Level I Trauma, Breast Reconstruction, Body Contouring, Oncologic Reconstruction, Growing Head & Neck Program, General Face & Body Cosmetic surgery quality just to name a few. Development of an elective microsurgery program to support multi-disciplinary programs for post traumatic and oncologic reconstruction is highly desirable.
At Creighton University Medical Center and CHI Health, our Department of surgery is one of the nation’s highest quality, award-winning programs. The program is part of our integrated, multispecialty system, working with every member in subspecialty surgery, committed to the highest outcome of every procedure we perform. In addition, our program is further augmented by our many other resources associated with our academic institution including our institute of population health and the nation’s only resident healthcare leadership program. Also, the Division of Plastic Surgery is a full participant in Surgery Centers both at the Academic Medical Center & Community Based Hospital situated in a large cash pay population.
Resident activity with the department of surgery is highly engaging at our academic flagship University Medical Center and Level I Trauma Center.
