The posted compensation range of $474,240 - $499,200 /year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Details
As our Otolaryngology (ENT) Physician, you will join a growing, physician-led practice atDignity Health Medical Group - Merced, playing a pivotal role in the continued success, design, and development of our regional Ear, Nose, and Throat service line.
You will provide expert outpatient and surgical clinical care to patients within the community, diagnosing and treating a wide variety of otolaryngologic conditions including head and neck disorders, sinonasal diseases, hearing loss, and sleep apnea. You will also contribute significantly to shaping a robust, patient-centered specialty care network in a highly collaborative environment.
To be successful in this role, you will be a BC/BE Otolaryngology physician with a passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse community, strong clinical and surgical skills, and a commitment to building a premier medical and surgical home within a supportive, mission-driven environment. This opportunity is structured to support an excellent work-life balance, offering a predictable Monday through Friday schedule with shared regional call responsibilities.
Deliver comprehensive medical and surgical otolaryngology consultative services, in-office diagnostic procedures, and advanced surgical interventions.
Lead the clinical design, growth, and development of the local ENT service line to expand regional access and capture outmigration.
Partner and collaborate cross-functionally with a dedicated network of local primary care, pediatrics, and audiology providers to optimize patient referral pathways.
Access advanced diagnostic services and surgical resources while utilizing modern facilities and fully equipped operating rooms at Mercy Medical Center Merced.
We are offering the following incentives to eligible new hires:
Annual base salary ($450,000 - $500,000/year) plus productivity-based incentives
Signing bonus and relocation assistance
100% employer-paid medical and dental insurance for you and your family
Monday through Friday schedule with shared regional call responsibilities
Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility, an employer-sponsored pension plan, and annual CME allowance
Job Requirements
Required
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
Board eligible or board certified in Otolaryngology (ABMS or AOA)
Active or eligible medical license in the state of California
Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification (or eligibility to obtain)
Completion of an accredited post-graduate residency training program in Otolaryngology
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-based clinical problem-solving skills
