Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician

Job Details

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist, you will join CHI Health St. Elizabeth in Lincoln, Nebraska, and become part of a progressive, rapidly expanding Women's Health Service Line dedicated to delivering exceptional care for mothers and babies. This opportunity is ideal for a physician who is passionate about providing comprehensive maternal-fetal medicine with a strong emphasis on prenatal diagnosis, fetal surveillance, and the management of high-risk pregnancies. You'll enjoy a flexible schedule, strong mentorship, and the opportunity to help expand maternal-fetal medicine services throughout our regional catchment area while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team committed to clinical excellence and outstanding patient outcomes.

Every day you will provide consultative care for high-risk obstetrical patients, including support for community-based practices in Norfolk and Nebraska City. You'll work closely with General OB/GYN physicians, Urogynecology, OB Hospitalists, certified nurse midwives, neonatology, pediatrics, and pediatric surgery to coordinate comprehensive maternal and fetal care. You'll practice in a facility featuring a 27-bed Level III NICU staffed 24/7 by Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, with access to two state-of-the-art GE Voluson E10 ultrasound systems equipped with ViewPoint software fully integrated into the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR). Additional support includes 24/7 OB Hospitalist coverage, an established primary care referral network, and the opportunity to provide the full spectrum of maternal-fetal medicine services.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Board Eligible or Board Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine physician who is committed to compassionate, evidence-based care and multidisciplinary collaboration. You'll enjoy mentoring colleagues, building relationships with referring providers, and helping grow maternal-fetal medicine services across the region. Physicians with an interest in academic medicine and innovation will also have opportunities to participate in research, quality improvement initiatives, and program development while making a lasting impact on the health of mothers, babies, and families throughout Nebraska.

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support your professional and personal success. This includes a guaranteed two-year base salary, a starting on bonus, annual bonus opportunities, and relocation assistance. In addition, you'll receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with employer match, malpractice insurance with tail coverage, and relocation support to help make your transition as seamless as possible.
