Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Interventional Gastroenterologist (GI) with us, you will receive (must be able to perform ERCP): 

  • $666,376 base salary (does not include call or incentive pay)
  • $56,048 sign-on bonus
  • $15,000 relocation asssistance
  • $30,000 student loan repayment

Additional Gastroenterologist (GI) position details:

  • EPIC electronic medical record for both IP and OP
  • Endoscopy charting tool used in the surgical center is Provation
  • We use Fuji brand scopes
  • 2 Procedure Rooms
  • Based out of Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley, the clinic is on the same campus
  • Ability to create own schedule
  • On call 7 days per month, anything over would be determined together by the Gastroenterology team.

Our Physicians provide services at or above the customary practice standards in the Community, and within the qualifications and experience of Physicians and adhere to the standards and principles of medical ethics of the American Medical Association, and all recognized associations or accrediting boards concerned with the Physician’s area of medical specialty.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty.
  • Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (“DEA”) registration;
  • Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to Hospital;
  • Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at sponsoring institution
  • Doctorate MD or DO required
  • DR-Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Utah required

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
