Job Details
Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a multi-specialty group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add an Ophthalmologistto our clinic in Folsom.
Opportunity Highlights
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases.
- Perform surgical procedures, such as Cataract surgery, Femtosecond laser for cataract surgery, Pterygium, MIGS, lasers for iridotomies, capsulotomies, and SLT.
- Prescribe and manage appropriate medications and treatments for patients.
- Provide expert advice and counseling to patients regarding their eye health, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including optometrists and primary care physicians, for coordinated patient care.
- Stay updated with advancements in ophthalmology and participate in relevant continuing education activities.

Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology.
- Active medical license to practice in the state of California.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Dedication to providing high-quality patient care with a focus on compassion and empathy.
- Detail-oriented and organized with excellent time management skills.
- Willingness to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment.
