Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an OB/GYN physician and private practice owner in the Sacramento/Folsom region, you will embark on a unique entrepreneurial journey within a rapidly expanding healthcare market, establishing and leading your own independent gynecology and obstetrics practice. This pivotal role allows you to provide comprehensive women's health services, leveraging robust hospital support while maintaining financial autonomy and uncapped earning potential. You will be instrumental in meeting the high demand for obstetrical and gynecological care in a vibrant, family-centric community in Folsom, CA, directly impacting patient outcomes and growing your professional legacy.

Every day you will diagnose and treat a diverse patient population, focusing on gynecological health, prenatal care, and safe deliveries, all while actively building your practice's brand and patient panel. You'll benefit from prime clinic locations adjacent to Mercy Hospital of Folsom, seamless integration with hospital services, and access to an Obstetrics Hospitalist program for comprehensive patient care coordination. You will utilize cutting-edge medical technologies, including advanced robotic systems like Da Vinci 5 and Xi for surgical procedures, and collaborate with a network of on-site specialists. This role offers the flexibility of optional hospital call obligations, allowing you to prioritize outpatient practice development and deliver your own patients when desired.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for providing exceptional women's healthcare. You should possess excellent clinical skills, a commitment to patient-centered care, and the ambition to grow a successful private practice. Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential for building patient trust and managing your practice effectively. Prior experience in an independent practice environment is beneficial but not required, as comprehensive support is provided for practice establishment. We are seeking a physician who is eager to invest in their future and contribute to the health of a thriving community.

We are offering a comprehensive support package designed to ensure your success, including a generous 12-18 month income guarantee to mitigate initial financial pressures, all provided by Mercy Hospital of Folsom. This opportunity comes with unrestricted earning potential as your practice grows, and a unique option for qualified candidates to invest in a local, successful surgery center for additional equity and financial growth. You will benefit from dedicated market development services to assist with strategic positioning and patient outreach, and we are committed to exploring future financial assistance and collaborative models for adding new providers as your practice flourishes. Join us as a valued partner in shaping the future of women's healthcare in Folsom, CA.
