The posted compensation range of $176,000 - $208,000 /year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Neurology NP/PA Site Director with VerityMD, you will lead and optimize operations at their Carmichael clinic, driving exceptional patient experiences and team performance. This leadership role offers the unique opportunity to blend your clinical expertise in neurology follow-up care with hands-on site management, ideal for an experienced NP or PA seeking a fulfilling career in an outpatient setting. Leverage your independent clinical skills and leadership acumen to shape a positive and efficient healthcare environment.

Every day you will manage a focused caseload of established neurology patients (16 per day) encompassing conditions like headaches, neuropathies, Parkinson's, dizziness, and dementia, supported by robust protocols and a dedicated Medical Assistant. You will directly supervise a team of three Medical Assistants, ensuring smooth workflows and operational excellence. Enjoy a predictable, full-time, Monday-Friday schedule with no evenings, weekends, or holidays, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while contributing to a 100% in-person, patient-centric environment.

To be successful in this role, you will possess significant experience as a Neurology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and the ability to independently manage a patient panel. Your leadership skills will be paramount in supervising and motivating a small team, optimizing clinic operations, and fostering a collaborative environment. Experience with EMR systems and a commitment to continuous learning, supported by remote neurology mentorship, are essential for thriving in this dynamic position.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Completion of accredited training program(s)
  • Active California NP or PA license (or ability to obtain)
  • Board certified
  • Minimum 3 years clinical, 1 year outpatient neurology
  • Comfortable working independently with follow-up patients
  • Strong clinical judgment
  • Exceptional organization
  • Natural ability to lead and inspire a team.

Preferred

  • Supervisory experience
