The posted compensation range of $445,000 - $450,000 /year is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
As a Colorectal Surgeon with Sierra Pacific Surgical, you will join a highly regarded surgical team committed to delivering exceptional patient care throughout the thriving Sacramento region. This is a premier opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible Colorectal Surgeon seeking practice autonomy and collaborative partnerships within a well-established and growing group. We offer a pure colorectal practice, eliminating general surgery call, and providing robust referral bases to ensure you can quickly build a successful, high-volume practice in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Every day you will leverage advanced surgical technologies, including daVinci Xi and X Surgical Systems, within award-winning affiliate hospitals. You'll dedicate your expertise to a diverse range of colorectal surgical services, supported by all-digital diagnostic imaging and ample block time in both hospital and outpatient settings. This role involves shared clinic and ER call, fostering a strong culture of positive patient experiences and outcomes, while providing the flexibility to develop entrepreneurial initiatives within your practice.

Job Requirements
Required
- Completion of an ACGME accredited training program
- Board certified or board eligible in Colorectal Surgery
- Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Excellent clinical and surgical skills with a strong understanding of colorectal conditions
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
Preferred
- 2+ years post training colorectal surgery experience
- MIS/Robotic training and/or experience
