You will become part of a collaborative oncology program with an established referral base, meaningful opportunities for long-term growth, and the resources of one of the nation's largest health systems.
Every day you will provide primarily outpatient Radiation Oncology care at Saint Joseph Hospital and Saint Joseph East Hospital, with a low volume of hospital consultations. You will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with 36 patient-facing hours and no call, managing an average of approximately 20 patients on treatment each day. You will collaborate with two Radiation Oncologists, three Medical Oncologists, two Surgical Oncologists, one Radiation Oncology APP, four Radiation Therapists, one RN, two office coordinators, and employed dosimetry and physics teams. You will use Epic and MOSAIQ, with Eclipse planning software, onsite CT simulation, and current Elekta equipment as the program prepares for a move to a new location with new equipment.
To be successful in this role, you will be a board-certified or board-eligible Radiation Oncology physician comfortable with all external beam treatment modalities. The leading disease sites include breast, lung, colorectal, and head and neck cancers. You will bring strong clinical skills, a collaborative mindset, and an interest in helping grow the program, with the potential to develop into a future Medical Director role.
We are offering a competitive base salary with productivity and quality incentives, as well as a recruitment package that may include a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, student loan repayment, and a residency stipend. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and retirement coverage, paid time off, a CME allowance, malpractice coverage, strong operational and administrative support, and the stability and resources of a national health system. Final compensation and recruitment incentives will be discussed directly with qualified candidates and may vary based on experience, training, location, and specialty.
