Physician Assistant Orthopedics

Dignity Health’s Pacific Central Coast Health Centers (PHC) is a non-profit Community clinic organization comprised of more than 40 health centers located primarily from Ventura to Templeton spanning the coast. Our experienced physicians and advanced practice providers offer a wide range of primary and specialty care services. PHC is a part of Dignity Health Central Coast’s award-winning network of outstanding hospitals imaging centers laboratories and post-acute services.

In keeping with the Pacific Central Coast Health Centers health care philosophy the Physicians Assistant is credentialed with advanced training in areas of primary health care for adult and pediatric patients including but not limited to: taking health history performing physical examination and psycho-social assessments management of acute and chronic medical conditions. Provides wellness care and urgent care in collaboration with physician members of health care team.

Minimum Requirements:

• PA State Certification.

• Advanced training in physical assessment and pharmacology; continuing education in field of practice.

• BLS

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum five years experience in acute care facility i.e. hospital; specialty training in areas of trauma/urgent care pediatrics and gynecology minor office surgical procedures.
